Hello! My name is Bishop Maurice K. Wright. I am the General Overseer of the United Christian Church, An International Ministry. Yet their love, care and concern for the lost is felt in every song. Their songs are more than words and rhythm. The unadulterated Word of God is proclaimed; and the truth is told with much compassion. Even preachers and adults who normally do no listen to or buy rap music are being tremendously blessed by their last project: “Christ Pushers!”
“God’s New Perfection” comes highly recommended by me. There is no doubt that those who would hear them and see them minister, will surely be blessed by these young men. If given the opportunity to minister (not perform) at the Rap Fest 2006, I know that you will be extremely glad that you did without any regret. I originally met the members of GNP while working at a Christian book & music store back in 2000. After hearing their first cd…our store immediately brought it in on consignment. Over the next several months…their cd flew off the shelf once people listened to it. Not only were kids coming in buying it…but parents who wanted good quality Christian rap for their children were buying it also.
As a Christian rap/hip-hop customer & fan for over 20+ years now…I’ve encountered a wide array of Christian rap music. There is so much potential for growth in the area of Christian hip-hop/rap music. (Society is yearning for it.) God’s New Perfection is a solid group of young men who can lead the way. They are one of the most well-rounded groups I have ever heard combining solid lyrical content, relevant music (beats), and great stage presence. If GNP was featured in a focus group test with a total of 10 Christian rap groups being listened to…I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the most appealing 90% of the time.
I’ve been impressed with the ministry & music of God’s New Perfection for about 6 years now and look forward to what is in store for these Godly men in the future.

God’s New Perfection is the first ministry act on Christ Pushers Records. The group consists of three blessed and anointed individuals. Each member of this dynamic group is unique in their own way. One thing they all have in common is their sincere and earnest hunger and thirst to pursue and perform the Will of God. They are saved and endeavor each day to build a strong relationship with God and to present Christ to the world with passionate love and Kingdom confidence.
The ministry is driven by their firm belief that God will use this generation to demonstrate his pre-destined purpose for all mankind.
Enclosed is a brief biography of each member to help you get a feel on the
individual styles of rap and to understand the heart of the ministry.
Jason Brown better known as, “J-Stone”. Jason is 30 years old and has a laid-back type of style. His voice has a southern tinge to it. The inspiration or the drive behind his ideas is the goodness and mercy of God. He is known for his solid scriptural basis and his unique formation of the use of his words. The name, “J-Stone,” represents Jason’s firm belief in God. His life statement, “on Christ the solid rock I stand,” is a reminder to us that God is our refuge. J-Stone has been sharing his gift of rap for 13 years.
Jabbar Wesley better known as “The Brand Newest”. Jabbar is 29 years old. Jabbar’s moves in the prophetic and he often expresses the heart of God with a stern and sincere reverence for God’s Word. He is known to guide the body of Christ by boldly telling it like it is according to the heart and the Word of God. Jabbar receives his inspiration and ideas from writing by placing himself in the future; thus, painting a picture so you can imagine the life of a Christian in the years to come. Jabbar often speaks to the streets and lets individuals know the consequences for the wages of sin. “Upon the wicked God shall rain snares, fire and brimstone.” (Psalms 11:6) The Brand Newest has also been rapping for 13 years.
Keith Wesley Jr. better known as “Lil’ Bub". Keith is 32 years old. Keith’s name is really his nickname and is known by family and friends as Bub. Bub’s inspiration comes from the power of intercession and the depth of God’s love. It was an act of heroism on God’s part to reach down and hand pick such an undeserved vessel. God spoke three words that pushed him into his purpose….Do or Die! Since that burning bush experience he has
aggressively pursued his call with all his heart, mind and strength. The motivation he intensely expresses comes from Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” He has exercised his gift of rap for 18 years. God began to change and rearrange his life, causing Life-A-New Records & the ministry of God’s (1) New (8) Perfection (7) to be birthed. Since then God restructured, matured and renamed the ministry thus birthing the “Christ Pusher Movement”. David could not have said it better…. “And He hath put a new song in my mouth even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear and shall put their trust in the Lord.” (Psalms 40:2-3)

Brandon “B-Humble” Harris: B-Humble delivers his rhymes with an evangelistic boldness. He lives the life of a believer with a high standard of purity, humility and confidence. God has graced him with the ability to rap and produce “heavenly creations for the heavenly minded.” B-Humble have shared his gift of rap for 6 years.
Brian L.A.M.E.W. Harris: L.A.M.E.W. stands for L.ord A.noint M.y E.very W.ord. He delivers a message of hope and faith with a high emphasis on being a true Kingdom representer. The motivating force that drives him is the willingness to push Christ with no compromise. He testifies to God’s faithfulness and unmerited favor that has kept him through many attacks of the enemy. It is only by God’s goodness and mercy that L.A.M.E.W. is able to maintain the gift of rap and production with excellence and consistency. His gift has been shared with all who are willing to hear for the past 10 years and counting.
Joe “Brotha’ Go-Jo” Johnson: Brotha’ Go-Jo is a Christ Pushin’ radical that is absolutely-positively Anti-Lucifer. His mission is to equip the people and to present the gospel of the Kingdom to all mankind. He is known as the ministry’s True and Pure, Bold and Strong -“Witness.” The nature of his mission is in his name and that is to “GO”! The Christ Pusher Ministry touched Bro. Joe and he had the privilege to know the Grace and Mercy of God on a personal level. Born a sinner, yet lived through an enormous testimony, he is now able to go into the enemy’s camp and pursue, overtake and recover all.
