We have to admit that we hadn't heard of Godspeed until the group received a mess of votes in this category, but isn't that what an unsigned band category is all about? That being said, if the tracks streaming through the Godspeed's MySpace page are any indication, they won't remain unsigned for long. Crispy, B-Flat and Derriere make some terrifically radio-friendly, booty-shakin' hip-hop, and it's only a matter of time before the group's sound finds its audience.

Godspeed is a trio — producer Crispy with '70s beats, B-Flat spitting fast rhymes and Derriere singing smooth back-ups — that has been hustling shows all around the city.
