Hip Hop artist, Sean Nunley (AKA GODsun) was enveloped in a life of crime, which included selling drugs and committing armed robberies. As a result, he was shot in 1992, and the bullet that pierced his spine paralyzed him from the legs down. Yet, GODsun is testament to how “the worst of sinners” can become the most used vessels. His life changing incident lead to a heart changing experience, and Sean went from a Pittsburgh street battling rapper, “Demolition” to “GODsun” - lowercasing “sun” to reveal his humble desire to shine for GOD. Today, GODsun stands on faith and the promises through Jesus Christ; sharing biblically based messages through his music in venues ranging from, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to Cleveland’s Word Church. Receiving radio play on ESPN radio and other national radio stations for his Pittsburgh Steelers fight song and winning the Christian rap contest “Judgment Day”, GODsun continues his pursuit to spread the gospel through Hip Hop with his co-owned label, Last Lap Innertainment.
