If God, The Devil, And The Pimp was turned into a book it would read, "Captivated by love, then killed by it, but F$&% if it wasn't worth it!" This is illuminated through the progression of an intense first song, "Trite And True," which spins your heart like a table-top in an anticipated foreplay, until its release of pleasure from the catchiness of the first and second chorus's. The Erie lyrics and almost hypnotic guitar riffs add a spectacular dark cloud to their new world im visiting, while the driving drums and passionate performance from Lead Singer Nick Bachicha provides an offsetting light that blends perfectly.
The Devil takes over in the second song, about a dying man who lived a reckless life, both in love and otherwise. Catchy Erie guitar licks once again permeate throughout this song, providing a back drop for the drums to "sweat and groove," as well as for the vocals to slowly evolve into a explosive outro!
GPD's last track is the most acoustically stunning. "The Show" is a culmination of arguing, deception, love, and above all, hope. Sweeping harmonies from Drummer Angelo Bachicha follow his brother's lead vocals like a river of bliss while his unique polyrhythms on drums add a sense of urgency and life to the mix. The song ends in a long drawn out Fermata that leaves me in a trance of completeness.
Bottom Line, when seductive beats meet punchy dynamic vocals: its time to open your check book, because this EP album will keep you satisfied longer then any other indie album out, full-length or otherwise.

God, The Devil, And The Pimp is a Punchy Alternative progressive rock band formed in Round Rock, Tx in 2008. Since their introduction to the music scene, the band have comprised of vocalist and bassist Nick Bachicha, drummer and backing vocalist Angelo Bachicha, and guitarist Kyle Thurin. God, The Devil, And The Pimp are known for their "...Energetic stage presence and heavy-hearted lyrics..." mixed with catchy choruses. Their live shows have lead them to win the 101x battle of the bands in 2007, under a previous name, and play at several prestigious clubs including Antones and The Parish. Currently, the band is promoting their self-titled demo, God, The Devil, And The Pimp, after producing it from their own home studio and are in production of a string of different merchandise; all this, while still finding time to record other bands on a purely donation basis.
