Go For Launch

Go For Launch is a five-piece music group from New York formed in 2009. After the breakup of a previous band, four remaining members continued their pursuit in music developing songs that tend to transcend genres and break expectations. After the original drummer left, the Go For Launch lineup was solidified. Go For Launch’s musical style cannot be pinned to one style as each song transcends hints of different genres such as rock, jazz, R&B, progressive rock, ska, reggae, and swing. Live shows are the strongpoint for Go For Launch as the energy and groove are delivered to the audience by band members who stand whole heartedly behind the music they’ve written. By show end, audience and band share camaraderie in their exhaustion of dancing and interaction with each other. Go For Launch’s self-titled CD is a seven song EP that demonstrates such a fusion of genres. It is now available on ITunes.
