Founded in mid-August 2005 in San Jose, CA, GOFUYA's groove ridden sound is already catching fire in San Jose's rock scene with their blend of rock-funk rhythms and soul powered female vocals. Moving through their hard-hitting, heavy rock hits like "Pabbit" into more moody and soul driven ballads like "Gofuy," GOFUYA never fails to take their fans through a rollercoaster of emotions and leave them wanting to hear every song again and again.
With members coming from Washington-D.C., NYC and California, it's not a surprise to listen to their recently released demo and hear 311's laid back groove, Incubus' heavy-pulsating rock, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers funk. Lighting up stages throughout the California area, with a balsy, soul-filled singer and talented musicians, GOFUYA is quickly and undeniably becoming one of rock's newest proteges.
