This band has no press

We have a two-song demo which can be heard on our myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/3xgo) or on last.fm (http://last.fm/music/gogogo) or just on here. We also have a slew of horribly recorded songs we did at home, if you need to hear more (but they're horrible).

Feeling a bit camera shy

gogogo (intentionally spelled without capitals) is an unsigned Dublin band just starting out on what will undoubtedly be a phenomenally succesful career.
They're influenced a variety of by bands and artists like Fugazi, At The Drive-In, Sleater-Kinney, Fiona Apple, Colin Greenwood, The Kinks, Bjork, The Dresden Dolls, The Buzzcocks, The Thermals and Queen Adreena.
They got their name from a comment someone made on the deviantART music forum (lol, nerds), and wish they could remember who it was.
They started two years ago when Dara joined the remnants of the band Yan and Grace had been in, with Finn joining a little later. They all hit it off immediately (music-wise, that is, Yan and Dara had already known each other for six years), and songs started flowing. They played their first gig that winter with Trinity College's alternative music society, and since then have been playing around most of Dublin's small venues, opening for bands like New Amusement, The Upgrades and The Fury of Tim, and were a headlining act at Naked Lunch, a weekly open mic night.
