gohya

Gohya is a state of mind that runs on Pop-Rock textures rendered in Portuguese.
Its origins date back to 2005 with Pedro Jorge on vocals and guitar and Nuno on bass and vocals. Later, David was added to the mix on lead guitar and vocals followed by Dave who closed the foursome on drums.
The ride you take with Gohya is free, simple and direct. As a result of this simple and direct approach, music will arrive safely at its destination, wether live or on a recording.
Pedro Jorge is the voice of Gohya after having been in other projects such as Spray, Dead Sea Israel and O Lobo. He likes to observe passers-by and wonder what their life is like. He’s not keen on having doors shut in the house.
Nuno laid the foundations on Alexandre Garrett’s solo effort, and reveals on short notice an overbearing fondness for Bauhaus, Joy Division and The Cocteau Twins. He’s described as an enthusiast. He enjoys his skirmishes on Warhammer 40.000 Dark Crusade and staying at home wearing comfy clothes. He loathes pointless conversation.
David was a member of Soma. He’s seen as an einstein trying to make his own guitar pedals. He’s also responsible for rescuing some students in his way, because he also teaches a Design College.
David is the creative clockwork that syncs it all together. His persona is well displayed in disparate moments of restraint and flamboyance. He was part of a band called Plaza and other musical endeavours. - Myself
