Goldbloc is a Boston-based, soul-synth duo consisting of vocalist Solei and producer Goldenhaus who have put out a string of releases over the past few months. Days Are Dreaming along with Black and Gold are just two of the tracks released within the past month and choosing which to share was my most difficult choice this Sunday. Days are Dreaming is a beautiful track throughout. There is just something about the offbeat vocals paired with the crisp, clean production which makes for a very compelling track. - Salacious Sound

The more I hear from Boston duo Goldbloc, the more I'm convinced that they're one of the best slept on acts of our time. But it's no surprise that their ever growing fan base has caught on like wildfire; "Days of Dreaming" shot up the Hype Machine charts when it was first released and was the catalyst to their success. Dubbed as "music for the mind," their latest project entitled Black Gold captures you into a 16 and a half minute state of bliss as the sultry sounds and chilling instrumentals enter your ears. While it's hard to pick a standout track, the mellow, slow burner jam "Runaway" is one that you're guaranteed to play on loop as your night slowly moves into day. The beautiful, seductive down tempo sounds from producer Goldenhaus coupled with the breezy vocals from Solei will be the soundtrack to your late night drives and after parties this summer. If I had to describe this project in one phrase, "audio crack" is the first thing that comes to mind. Meet Goldbloc, a soul synth duo hailing from Boston that caught my ear this evening with their newly-released Black Gold EP.

During a losing effort against insomnia, I found myself trying to find comfort in possibly discovering some new music to add to my playlists. After an hour of failed attempts, I came across Goldbloc's EP and was immediately taken hostage by "Days Are Dreaming." One minute in and I knew there was no way I was going to escape. Fast forward an hour later and I'm currently on my fourth straight listen.

If you have 16-minutes to spare, I highly suggest you let Goldenhaus' downtempo production set the vibe while Solei's soulful vocals take you away. - 2dopeboyz

Boston-based duo Goldbloc have been a group I’ve had my eye on ever since I heard their track “Runaway” a couple of months ago. This week they released a stunning four song EP called “Black Gold“. I’m a sucker for bass-heavy beats and sultry female vocals and Goldbloc bring it on both counts.

One of the main things that really leaped out at me listening to this EP, aside from singer Soleil’s vocals, is the way Goldbloc‘s producer, Goldenhaus weaves and layers vocal snippets throughout the production.
