Comprising of Patrick Broz (guitar/vocals), Trevor Watson (guitar/keyboards), Jewel Loree (bass), and Kelsey McGee (drums), Golden Idols has been charming audiences all over Seattle and the northwest. They are influenced by everything from surf to dream pop to country funk, and it all finds its way into the music in a surprisingly thrilling amalgamation. The common thread throughout their ever growing repertoire is the danceability of every note of every song.

Never ones to believe that a fun song can’t still say something, these tracks tell the stories of that large majority of the human population comprised largely of assholes, narcissists and adulterers. This juxtaposition of infectious rhythms with lyrics expressing a morbid fascination with bad people and their motives sets Golden Idols apart as a refreshing change, like the sigh of relief when someone finally says what everyone is thinking. You might say, these songs are dedicated to the elephant in the room.
