“I have been playing ‘Never Let Go’ incessantly. Gold Heart has some of the smoothest, emotionally laden and edgy harmonies in the business. Couple such superlative singing with killer songs, fascinating arrangements and ferocious pickin’ and you enter into the realm of high-lonesome greatness. They really have something going on here.
- ~Dave Higgs (Nashville Public Radio/Bluegrass Breakdown)

..."They absolutely kocked my socks off! They are called "Gold Heart" and these young ladies are true to their name. Their pure talent is amazing and their harmonies are enough to break your heart. I really can't say enough about how good they sound. It reminds me of the first time I heard Rhonda Vincent or Dry Branch Fire Squad-- a unique sound all their own. Simply inspiring! They are a pure listning joy!" - Les Evans

"WOW! Again WOW! It should be known that my musical tastes have long been Heavy Metal, Alternative, Classic and Hard Rock. But...I was truly awe inspired by their beautiful voices and such comforting songs this band offers. I was never into Bluegrass and until now I wasn't aware I was even a fan but their performance was enchanting. Their CD was the first I Have purchased in 15+ years. They have such amazing voices...beautiful and classic music of a lost era. I tip my hat...their works truly caught my ear and stuck." - B.P. Leesburg, VA

Bio

The five-piece band, GOLD HEART, featuring the Gold  sisters, Tori (mandolin), Jocey (guitar) and Shelby (fiddle) have earned great appreciation and respect from the bluegrass and acoustic community. Their award-winning instrumental ability and their accomplished, harmony-laden vocals are sweetly unique and rootsy.

The Gold sisters have been touring extensively since their formation in 2005. They perform as a quintet with their father, Trent on bass along with some of the best banjoists in the business.

These brilliant young artists are expert songwriters. Jocey and Shelby pen the majority of the bands impressive material. Jocey was one of three finalists (bluegrass category) out of 983 contestants in the 2008 Chris Austin Songwriters Competition at MerleFest. The work of both Jocey & Shelby can be heard on Never Let Go and My Sisters and Me.

Highlights include a major international tour of the United Kingdom, performances in 23 US States and multiple appearances in Canada. Gold Heart was invited to perform as a 2009 IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Official Showcase Band in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2008, Gold Heart was honored to win first place in the prestigious Podunk Band competition. Gold Heart has been featured twice on the PBS television program "Song of the Mountains". That program reaches thousands of viewers nationwide.

The Gold Sisters are currently in the studio recording their 4th project and are excited to announce that Ron Stewart, of The Boxcars, is producing their next CD.

Gold Heart is a tight group that will astonish you from the first note to the last.

They have set high standards and this band won't disappoint.

The Gold Sisters give God above all the glory. They credit Him alone for their talent and ability. Through their music, they hope to inspire souls to look up to the Author and Creator of life. If even in some small way, their songs encourage listeners, give hope or bring a smile, then they are happy.
