With strong foundations as MCs, Gold Rush Kings are all about their high-quality, high-entertainment music delivered with magnetic swag. Incorporating vocal harmonies, Gold Rush Kings’ sound is best described as "feel good music" with their infectious beats and witty rhymes aimed to entertain all listeners. From hood to pop, internets to street corners, GOLD RUSH KINGS have something for everybody.
Reminiscent of great MC duos of the past such as A Tribe Called Quest and Outkast, GOLD RUSH KINGS bring 2 huge vocal personalities together on each song creating energy like ATCQ’s “Check the Rime” or Outkast’s “Miss Jackson.” It might be a little premature to make this claim, but judging by the quality of music and public response, we are witnessing the birth of the next great duo in Hip Hop history.
King-O aka Odds aka Oddsequence is a veteran MC out of Los Angeles’ underground Hip Hop scene who, since the young age of 16, has been rapping and recording music with several groups (some gained acclaim in the underground Hip Hop scene such as Jupitersciples and BP & ODDS). With his innovative LA flow, firm grasp of the big picture, and keen business sense; King-O is actively pursuing his seizure of the title of best rapper alive. From freestyling in ciphers, to active Hip Hop purist, to now: a musician with a goal of reaching the masses, King-O is one half of the major powers that make up the super group: GOLD RUSH KINGS.
JKING, originally from Compton, implanted in Moreno Valley, then Orange County; is a well-rounded individual to say the least. With all of these points of view on deck, JKING is dedicated to telling his entertaining story to the masses with the wittiest of phrasing and cleverest of wordplay. With his self-proclaimed “next-level rhyming” endeavor, JKING aims to be the next lyricist mentioned in the same breath as Nas, Biggie, and Jay-Z.
GOLD RUSH KINGS are in line to be the future of Hip Hop music.
