GOMANGO is represented in this band as a sum of sweat and dedication by its experienced members. Lead singer/dancing guitar player Jo Lou works with funk bassist Snappy Homefry, melodic guitarist Sean Beresford, and clever drummer Greg Woods to create a steam-engine of musical entertainment. Their ska, reggae, and rock playfully expose well-crafted songs, while the band's worldly vibrations grooves from style to style. Since their dawn in the summer of 2003, GOMANGO has played a variety of shows, special events and festivals in Toronto. They wowed audiences at P.S. Kensington's Street Festival last summer and were the highlights at this year's Something's Fishier (18 band event) and BUZZ Festival.
GOMANGO's release of the much anticipated EP "H2O" (2005) has already made a great impression on new and old fans alike. Such adept variety and energy will be further explored on their full-length album "FULAP" due out in the fall, which they will promote and tour throughout Ontario and Quebec. GOMANGO is anxious to take their musical celebration and spirited wit to audiences throughout North America and abroad, and they welcome music-lovers everywhere to be a part of their crusade to revitalize hope in an unknown future and bring the instinct to groove back to reality.
