kevin got his first guitar when he was 15 years old. it was his fathers guitar, who once used it in a country-western band named, Six Pack and a Half Pint. kevin's dad taught him only three chords (G,C,and D7) and left him alone to figure the rest out by himself. before long, kevin was playing by ear and writting songs daily about heartbreak, lonliness, and longing while he was in high school. when kevin graduated in 1998, he moved to a differnt city to get away from all the evil temptaions that a small town has to offer. gradually, kevin got bored with just playing all the time and eventually became obsessed with recording. (kevin becomes obsessed easily when it comes to do with anything where music is involved) he got his first recording equipment in 2002 and began working on his first album, "bottles on the shelf". it was an album that consisted mostly of music he had written from 1998 onward. he recorded the tracks in various bedrooms around Visalia, CA. in late 2003, kevin finished his project and passed it out to friends and family. they all thought he was onto something. then, his computer crashed and he lost everything he had been working on. kevin has recently upgraded his recording studio, acquired new instruments, and is re-doing "bottles on the shelf" they way he envisioned it to be. he also is working on a new album that has yet to be named.

kevin's music is mostly about lonliness and heartbreak, with an occasional hint of anger and dissapointment; in himself as well as others. life to him is a constant learning process, and it's this that drives him to be who he is today, and who he will eventually become in the future.
