Bio

From appearances at Warped and Bamboozle, heavy regional touring and CD's for sale and on the play list in Hot Topic stores around the nation, Brooklyn's favorite Hip Hop Punk Pop outfit has had some 2008. With another tour lined up for January with fellow HT faves Screaming Mechanical Brain, GGG is poised to strike big in the 09! Take it from the Hot Topic brass, who pegged gONNA gET gOT as one of its "Bands to Watch 2009!"

BIO:
That dread-locked dude who used to man the board at CBGB's
once called Brooklyn's gONNA gET gOT "new wave hip-hop.
Another scenester in the house called them "punk-rap."
Some simply say, Punk-Pop Hip-Hop.

Now if you're anything like the band-members themselves, any sort of musical description involving a mash-up of rap with white-boy styles has made you run for the hills.

But fear not. This sh*t is actually good!

However you choose to describe it, GGG's unlikely collision of sound is providing sustenance to that peculiar strain of music fan out there looking for something different. From Goth fans to punk-rockers, hip-hop heads to dead-heads, teen-age girls to MILFs and beyond... gONNA gET gOTs appeal crosses boundary after boundary.
Rising up from the ashes of the O (formerly signed to NYC underground giants' Mindless Self Indulgence's personal label, as well as several different majors in the UK) , GGG's music has already spat forth from thousands of glowing TV screen's during MTV's Pimp My Ride as well as on the nationally syndicated cult-music show Fearless TV. Legendary NYC punk-makeup icon Manic Panic is one of several past sponsors. Finally, rapper Trip Jeezy remains New York's only front man to be ejected from Joe's Pub while performing.
Their sophomore LP, the poppy and personal My Microphone, was released May 1st and promptly became the biggest selling CD on CDbaby.com that week. With heavy regional touring being planned, gONNA gET gOT will be conquering the MySpace masses in no time.
