"DJ Phil 97.9 The Beat - Radio One"

“First single caught my attention…I look forward to the second single to back up his identity. GoodFella is already getting spins there is no reason that Dallas shouldn’t get jump on this…wait on the next single.” - COZ Records

"GoodFella's Single"

GoodFella hits the scene with a hot joint called "Swagga." The production is tight and the MC puts it down and compliments the track. This joint is worth checking out and GoodFella is someone to look out for, he spits with a cool unique delivery and lyrical content. GoodFella's second single "Get Your Mind Right" is a album filler, it kind of lacks that hit potential although the production is cool. "Swagga" should get some heads turning, look out for Goodfella! - Rapscene.com

Bio

The GoodFella has stepped into the music world with his own Swagga. Born in Monroe, La and raised in D.C. GoodFella grew up in the inner city listening to rhythm and blues, and the early pioneers of hip-hop to cope with the struggles of hood life. It wasn’t until he saw his father doing jam sessions with his band, that GoodFella realized it was his turn to hit the scene with his blend of go-go and hip-hop. GoodFella got to work immediately and teamed up with DJ Ragz from San Diego and headlined his mixtapes introducing his creditability in the streets of D.C. as a rapper. Mr. Cheeks from the Lost Boys heard about GoodFella and had him jump on the production of “Can’t Mess With Us.” He had a single called “Hustler” in 2002 on 97.9 The Beat which had regional success. You can hear GoodFella on the new DJ Big Bink Mixtape Vol. 2 “In MY Streets” with Universal Recording artist Gemini. Now GoodFella can be heard weekly doing a radio drop for the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
GoodFella brings the complete package to the industry as a producer, artist, and engineer. He is now ready to burst onto the national scene after 5 years in the underground circuit. GoodFella has just inked a deal with COZ Records. His newest release “Swagga” is in rotation at 91.9 FM in New York. He is also working with new artists 214, an R&B group also signed to the COZ Label. It’s time to get your Swagga back.
