Bio

Although just starting this new adventure, the south Florida band "Good Looks" (composed of 3 male newcomers) is ready to make some lasting expressions. The band may be fresh, but the artists are clearly anything but 'freshmen'. The majority of the players come from a touring background, having played in various bands at young ages. Front man and guitar player, Sam Clark, spent his last two years of high school on the road playing shows all over Florida and touring with Good Looks guitarist (and tour manager extraordinaire), Cody Tapoler.

After experimenting with a few demos in their beginning stages, Good Looks grabbed the attention of the Artist Manager for R & S Mgmt (Allstar Weekend, Secret Secret Dino Club, etc). After traveling across the country to Los Angeles to meet in the studio of the infamous Richard Reines, the boys experienced a week of musician “boot camp”. Richard molded the band through its early stages and gifted the band members the knowledge they would later need to hit the ground running. Instruments in hand, they returned to Florida ready to take on the world.

"Richard taught Sam and I things not only as musicians and artists, but as people, that I truly believe can take us anywhere imaginable. He pushed us out of our comfort zone by allowing us to record a song produced by John Feldman's star intern engineer: John Roberts. Honestly, we learned about songwriting from the best. -Cody Tapoler

"Beyond learning from John Feldman and recording with the master behind the engineering of the new Panic! at the Disco CD, Richard taught us more than I imagined I could know about social networking of all kinds." - Sam Clark

Back in the Sunshine State, Good Looks spent the rest of the year writing their debut EP and recording update videos. Playing acoustic sessions outside of national tours and preparing for the release of the CD this Fall were just some of the steps required to set of their tour later this year.

"We're all really positive about the release of this EP and where it will carry us. We've got an amazing set of contacts, an outstandingly produced, catchy, pop rock record, and the ambition that will drive us where ever we want to go." -Mike Ferraris

Due this April, the EP will set itself apart from other records released this year. Based around the radio pop rock they've all grown up listening to, the "Good Looks" kids have tossed in their own bits of twang here and there with elements of 80's and 90's platinum hits, making their way back in to the stream now with their current record.

Necks need be ready to turn, for Good Looks is not only guaranteed to hit speakers later this year, but promised to have toes tapping along all the while.
