Soaring UK alternative rock outfit Goodnight Astronaut was formed in the city of Nottingham in 2011 around the talents of Ben Deacon, Rick Gilbert, Liam Walters, Like Jimmy Eat World, Brand New, The Cure, Nirvana, Biffy Clyro,Taking Back Sunday, the band specialise in radio-ready alternative pop Rock that dutifully walks the line between pained and majestic.

The band followed it up with debut EP WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE OUT NOW ON ITUNE
Goodnight Astronauts very first live perfomance was playing on a outside stage in Nottingham market square for the future sound of Nottingham competition reaching the semi finals to a huge audience of friends, family and fans. This gig attracted positive press reviews around Nottingham and the East Midlands and the band quickly found popularity within the local music scene.
The band second gig was at the world famous music venue Nottingham Rock city, playing to a sold out crowd.
The bands next gig was an unpluged acoustic show, Supporting one of the bands musical heroes, Vinnie Caruana from the band Movielife at Nottingham rescue rooms.
Next gig playing an intimate acoustic set at the Macmilan festival Nottingham Red rooms.
Goodnight Astronaut took a break late 2012 to work on other music prjects but are still writing and working hard on their Debut Album and hope to release it some time in the year. Followed by a UK tour.
