Googolplexia

Googolplexia is the one-man showbiz project of Robert "RØB" Severson, founder of filmmaking collective and record label Pancake Productions, co-creator of Mustardfish, and co-captain of the Squids sporting franchise. The typical Googolplexia concert will include a spanning of genre, tempo, attitude, and acknowledgment of personal space as stages are quickly abandoned and the crowd frequently engaged. You may hear calypso, polka, French pop, banjo-soul, goof-blues, traditional country, operatic recitatif, beach-rock, doo-wop, or any number of other varieties of music in any given single concert. Expect flailing theatrics and notes carried out far longer than is comfortable. Subject matter ranges from the mundane (falling in love, wanderlust) to the ridiculous (Star Trek and McDonaldland) and both combined (falling in love with cookies or with a poster depicting the Eiffel Tower).

Googolplexia defies and transcends ease of description but doesn't mind being summed up in a word or two. The RiverFront Times website once referred to Googolplexia as a "whimsical screwball," a completely embraceable title, and one as appropriate as any.

The priorities of Googolplexia are as follows: 1) To have a good time, and 2) To try, in whatever capacity of his performance that he can, to help other people have a good time. Googolplexia just wants everyone to have a good time, that's all!
