Gorgeous Priceless

Tasteful yet noticeable
A downbeat little gem this. It starts with delicately picked guitar riding a pleasingly skipping beat. It's a nice start and a good backdrop to a vocal that does a fine job of feeling out a neat minor key melody, decorating it with reflective an impressionistic lyrics - it feels like your observing a conversation through a wet window-pane.

So all this shoe-gazing puts us firmly in the realm of worthy blues-rock then. Well, actually no. The chorus crashes in and yanks the tracks head up, making it look right into the eyes of pop in the tasteful 80s mould of Robbie Nevil and the like - treated guitars and keening yet polite vocal emoting. It's great to hear as it injects a bit of vigour into a track that was a nice listen, but self-effacing to the extent that it was threatening to mosey on by unnoticed. Instead we have a resonant little gem of track that you just don't hear the like of too much these days.

Melodic
Interested from the start..Being a drummer, I'm gonna say, I like the choices made in this track as far as your drum chops go..Sweet..Lyrics are catchy,vocals are cool,musicianship is tight all the way through,and the production is good. Better than some I've heard..Very Nice, love the bridge....Guitars are beautiful through this track..excellent..
