Bio
Founded by bassist/vocalist Skyler Smith and drummer Samuel Nells in early 2013, Goron has been a staple of local music since their inception. After multiple lineup changes between 2013 and 2015, Rick Sterling joined the band. After a short hiatus in 2018 after the release of their debut EP, The Blood Bog, Goron returned to the studio to record their debut full length, Oak (released in July 2020), which currently boasts 5000+ plays on Spofity. Goron is currently auditioning members to add a fourth layer to their sound.
Goron's sound can be described as an amalgamation of a plethora of sounds. Taking influence from genres like Stoner Metal, Progressive Rock, and at times Jam/Blues and Psychedelic music. Goron makes music with one goal in mind: to push the limits of what we've done before.
