Its hard to compare GOSTO with the current styles in music, but you can hear that artists like Flying Lotus, Little Dragon, Thom Yorke and Fink Are no strangers to GOSTO.
In GOSTO you find hints of music from all genres that also like and listen to each others music.
What sets this band apart from other bands is Both the Music as the Karacters in the band or figures of mystery. You don't know what it really is, But you can't walk away form it. "You hear Soul but you feel Dub, You Feel hip hop but you hear Dance or Jazz or Funk or whatever " Poét; Joost Oomen.
Roel Vermeer is the Founder of GOSTO. On stage he jumps from a head banging Dub guy into a an intimit Folk singer. He has been traveling around the world in 4 years and there developed this mixture of styles. Yet, All his audience tell him is: THIS IS FOCKING HIP SHIT!
He is studying Jazz Vocals At the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Noorderslag would be an Amazing Oppertunitie for GOSTO. We have been playing Shows for 2 Years now and are more than ready for a bigger step. The present Goal of GOSTO is to play all the beatifull stages in world!!
GOSTO is planning on Releasing His First EP At Noorderslag.
