Gost Trio

Six years after playing together in Minneapolis favorites, Capital!Capital, Frank Bevan, Jacob Sharff, and Andrew Beccone all found themselves living in Brooklyn, so they decided to start playing music again. After a year of false starts, they finally got down to business in January 2008. By May they were playing shows, and in September, they booked time at The Wild Arctic with engineer Dean Baltulonis where they tracked 5 songs. They went back into the studio in February for another 5 songs, and by April mixing was complete on their 10-song deubut, Miles of Skies of Light. They have played shows at Rehab, the Knitting Factory, Coco66, the Music Hall of Williamsburg and Public Assembly with such acts as The Ravages, Loose Limbs, The Heroine Sheiks, and The Hold Steady. With a driving, sonically dense sound reminiscent of Unwound, Hot Snakes and Fugazi, Gost Trio plays a lean, tight, and focused live show.
