"Various Artists : ATX Volume 1"

Who's on it?
Haps, Mister Green, Myka Nyne, Bionik Brown, Sadat X, and other stars of the Austin crunk keep it musky on this crispy copilation with DJ Quickie Mart providing sick cuts and scratches.
Any good?
Holla!! Be careful where you play Volume 1. This dirty gem might have you grinding in your office chair or calling your mom "gurl". So bad and so, so godd.

"Gotham Green Unsigned Artist Of The Week"

Our Unsigned Artist of The Week is Gotham Green from New York. Gotham Green brings a homely feel to his music that is perfect to just sit back and enjoy. He exudes a cool and entertaining persona on the mic that is not threatening and condescending in any way. On top of the cool persona, is a storyteller that tells a story that is his alone, and he tells it bluntly and truthfully.

Behind the lyrics, are heavy hip hop productions that range from classic quotes from rappers, and turntable spins and scratches. All blended together for an experience that is smooth and something familiar yet very different from what Hip Hop has become.

favorites from Gotham Green are, "Picture In Words" and Still in The Streets"

"ATX Records Clique"

ATX Records is here! Bringing four MCs and a DJ from all across the country, ATX Records has a unique, Austin-infused sound as well as a new album, "ATX Records presents...Volume 1". Since it's inception in 2001, ATX has grown to become a studio, record store, and an artists' label with everyone from DJs to graffiti artists. "Representing ATX something lovely" , says the Austin American Satesman. Haps, Zeale32, Mister Green, and DJ Quickie Mart are leaving a mark on real hip hop this year.
