Gotti Monroe is more than just your typical female MC. She's also an eclectic visionary with a heart of a rocker. With her rebellious style and tom boy swag, Gotti is guaranteed to have all eyes and ears on her. Not to mention that being a first generation Nigerian raised in Washington DC, contributes to her diverse and unique character. Writing rhymes at the young age of 8, her path was destined for a musical journey. Seasoned by performing at local events, her biggest accomplishments include a performance on BET's former hit show 106 & Park where she won the 2011 Wild Out Wednesday Female Hip Hop competition. She also performed again in early 2012 where she came back as an All Star. Since then, Gotti Monroe has been perfecting her craft as an indie artist as well as collaborated on local projects.
Her love for music is so infinite, that there is no genre that singles her out. Gotti's current project is her first EP titled "IDGAF" set to debut in the Summer of 2016. The first single off of that project, also titled "IDGAF", has been released and is now available on iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify. Her unapologetic approach when it comes to her music, is just one of the signs that shows, she's the next big thing. Being a proud "Rule Breaker of Society", Gotti Monroe's dream is to excel in bringing her raw style into a male dominated industry.
