Bio

Goulasch Exotica originally was a fusion of 3 Hungarian DJs (Jutasi, Nafta, Suefo) and a multiinstrumentalist (Maszkura) who plays on accordion, keys, diddly, jew’s-harp, etc. They push a unique freestyle mix from jazz-funk-hip-hop-swing-dub-electro-break with a balkan twist and lot of bootlegs. Later join to the formation some other musicians who plays on violin, kettle, guitar, viola and on the top of this a singer. Since that time they made two different projects – the original dj version as Goulasch DJs and a live band as Goulasch Exotica. The band released their debut album on the end of 2008 at CLS Records. Two tracks from the album were played in heavy rotation in the Hungarian National Radio (MR2 Petõfi). They shared the stage already with Shantel, Fatima Spar und die Freedom Fries, !DelaDap, [dunkelbunt], Gaetan Fabri, Watcha Clan, Mau Mau, Sergent Garcia, Jon Kennedy, Saint Privat, Caspian Hat Dance, Eastenders, Romano Drom, Parno Graszt, etc. They played among others in Amsterdam (Melkweg), Vienna (OST Klub, Ottakringer Braurei), Prague (Cross Club), Bratislava (Sub Club), Berlin (CHB), Paris (Institut Hongrois), Budapest (A38 Boat, West Balkan) and on the best Hungarian music festivals.
