Governor Bloodbath was founded in the waning winter months of 2009 by the very tall Alex Logan and the significantly less tall Andy Fagan, two Boston-based songwriters seeking an outlet for and the amplification of the songs they had been writing over the past few years. Logan and Fagan recruited virtuoso guitarist Ravi Sarma to the fold, and the newly formed trio auditioned a number of drummers before discovering James Cooper, who at the tender age of 21 was already a veteran of several projects in Western MA.
Together at last, Governor Bloodbath is working on a debut album, tentatively titled Let's Taze the Jonas Brothers , due for this coming September. In the meantime, the group looks to share it's serenade of uptempo, eminently danceable indie rock with the good people of the Northeastern United States.
