We are loud, fast, very Groove-orinated and on occasion very melodic. Our songs are very free as well as progressive and building in an almost "jam" or improv type way. We are a Noise-punk in the same vien as Lightning Bolt, Hella, Pink and Brown, Melt Banana and to a lesser extent AIDS Wolf or even Sonic Youth and Japanther. GoWolf! was formed in DEC. 2005 at a 5 Minute Open Mic where we stripped of our shirts turned over the drums and amps still screeching, ran out the door and re-entered the club, got back on stage and finished the song. Since then we have been a major force within our local scene-often incorrporating many local musicians into our mix. We once Covered Lightning Bolt's "Assassins" on a Mandolin.
