Thanks for the opportunity, Yuki. I must say, from a visual/artistic perspective, I was completely captivated by your stage presence and performance...very powerful and emotional. You have such incredible talent...it was a supreme pleasure photographing your gig in NYC.

"Beachcomber Show"

Saturday night we were at our home away from home at the Beachcomber in Quincy. The opener was something else ... they were called "Go Yuki" and I can honestly say I have never seen anything like that before. Great players and an entertaining singer ... hey now. Check 'em out. - Clutch Grabwell

Bio

Go Yuki is made up of four unique musicians that have come together to create one vision. Drummer, Alix Jakson, was educated at Connecticut College but soon move to New Orleans to chase the music scene in that vibrant city. He was influence by the New Orleans music soon but like many other great musicians was forced to leave because of Hurricane Katrina. Eric Cordell, lead guitarist, a Berklee grad has been playing in the Boston music scene for several years. His passionate guitar riffs and relentless energy have been a driving influence for Go Yuki's sound. Louis Ochoa, bass, raised in the Philippines also attended Berklee. Louis's blend of technical wizardry and passion for music has added a unique bass style to the band. Yuki (Josephine Doroja), lead vocals, is also from Philippines. Her dynamic stage presence and sensual voice bring a special presence to stage. Together, this band brings a unique style and sound to the stage, which is "Go Yuki".
