Bio

The first thing that differentiates me from other rappers is that I'm from the Suburbs...not the ghetto or inner city. If you're looking for a "rags to riches" story, or a story full of death, despair, and jail time this isn't it. My experiences as a black man being brought up in a mostly white suburban neighborhood has greatly influenced what i talk about in my music. I do not rap about drugs, violence, or struggle from that standpoint; however, my flow is edgy, rough, catchy, and very musical. My topics range from racism to relationships, activism, partying, innovative/creative storytelling, and a hard-hitting display of lyrical skill. My album title "Death of a Salesman" comes from more than my love for theater. It's literally the death of this Wall-Street or JP Morgan employee persona that I have and the birth of the hip-hop & musical infused "GQ" that I created. My music can relate to the world...not just the block...not just the burbs or the clubs, but the people in Dublin, Tokyo, California, and even Australia. I want to give my fans unprecedented performances and music that's catchy, exciting, and fresh. I want to give them GQ.
