Gene Wright, 'Mr. GQ' himself, is a native of Greensboro, NC with a record of residency in Charlotte, NC. As a child, he was encouraged to express himself through poetry, singing, dancing and with various musical instruments. Awarded the opportunity to articulate his musical creativity in various ways; only heighten Gene's natural love for music. Striving to be the best, Gene continued to expand his musical knowledge, skills and training in high school and college.
In addition to his formal training as a musician, Gene developed and enhanced his skills in Computer Technology. Combining his love for music and his passion for technology gave birth to GQ Studios. While diligently training, Gene was noted for saying, “Quality exceeds quantity in every facet of life.” Therefore, as a producer, composer of albums, jingles, game scores, short films and all that is relative to music, GQ Studio guarantees quality.
Looking back to where it all started, Mr. GQ says, “I’m in this for the love of music."
