Grace-C

Everything that you hear is GRACE-C! She does it all, from the songwriting, to the composing. From producing the tracks, arranging and singing all of the lead and background vocals, to the engineering, editing and mixing of the song! Hence the reason for her debut album entitled “This is Me” ©2010. Literacy of many skills is something Grace-C prides herself on and that knowledge is what also what sets her apart from the norm.
Born May 29th 1988 to Chaplain (COL) Clarke L. McGriff and Susan J. McGriff, Grace-C is the only girl and the youngest of four. She recalls her life always having involved music. Since a young age Grace-C knew that music is where her passion was, and she began creating and writing her own music at the tender age of 10!
As a songwriter/singer/producer/vocal arranger/ dancer/ actress, Grace-C is an overall performer. She intends to use all of the talents that God has graciously blessed her with to do whatever His will may be for her life. She is very excited to see just what God has in store for her life. Grace-C understands that you need more than just talent to succeed in this tough music industry, and now at the age of 23 she is also a business-minded woman.
On May 8, 2010, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology after her tenure at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, F.L. She didn’t stop there; Grace-C is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science degree in Entertainment Business from the Award winning Full Sail University. She anticipates that this degree will help ensure that she is well prepared for whatever she may encounter within her aspiring career in the music industry upon graduation.
Grace-C plans on using her gifts and wants to become a successful songwriter. She says, “The worst thing in life would be waking up everyday for the rest of your days and dread going to your job. You have to have passion behind your work, or you are bound to be miserable.” “I dream of doing what I love, and getting paid to do it!” With that said Grace-C is known for jokingly using a saying, that she hopes to actually live by one day, “checks in the mail, checks in the mail!” Grace-C would also like to eventually establish a business and be the CEO, AKA “Boss Lady” of her very own music corporation in hopes to provide an opportunity for others to fulfill their musical dreams, after she has fulfilled some of hers.
She was born into a military family that moved often, and she has literally seen the world in her short years. In turn Grace-C’s entire life has been surrounded by music of immensely different genres, and her musical style exudes that variety with an emphasis in the pop music genre. She takes pride on having a diverse background and past as well as an open-mindedness on her list of personal characteristics. She would like to thank first and foremost God! Also her family and friends for their love, strength and continuous support, in helping her make it to this point thus far. To God be ALL the Glory!
