Grace Holmes Band

A heart of gold and lungs of steel are the driving forces behind Grace Holmes. The vocal powerhouse emerged onto the LA music scene in September of 2000. Since then, she has taken the town by storm. Crowned the "New Age Janis Joplin," Grace delivers an undeniably soulful sound. Clearly capturing the human emotion with every note, penetrating right to the heart of the listener.
As one watches the animated face of Grace, it becomes quite clear that she intensely feels every note. She holds nothing back!! Then, just when you're locked in and think you've got it all figured out, she hits with a surprise freestyle flow of melodically eloquent words. That's right people, the girl raps too. No pen or pad needed, she pours words out right from her heart. A truly impressive sight.
Since arriving in LA, she has been fortunate enough to open for Fishbone. She has also opened for VH1's Comedy Night. She recently released her current album, "In The Name Of Love." A soulful journey through the depths of the human soul backed by an amazingly talented band.
Currently, Grace is playing around town and working on some new recordings. Through the love and inspiration of friends, and the guidance of the universal soul, Ms. Holmes is truly on the rise. A star to shine brightly with the intent of enabling others to shine right beside her.
