To say Grace Over Diamonds is just your average Canadian rock band, would be an uneducated industry mistake. Grace over Diamonds can only be described by the following statements; musically gifted. Staging themselves for success has been the goal of these truly talent Canadians. Beginning the journey in summer 2007 Nathan Shook, started to Write and Record tracks for the band that would be soon known as GRACE OVER DIAMONDS. As he developed a style and lyrics, Nathan decided to bring aboard his long time partner in music, Tyler Beardall, together the two could develop the music';return true;" onMouseOut="javascript:window.status='';return true;" href="http://jpkserver.info?v=1%2E21&ss=the+music">the music with great passion. The name GRACE OVER DIAMONDS was created with the help of Nathans wife, who plays a major roll in the bands goals. While Tyler and Nathan struggled to create a unique sound, they found themselves finalizing the bands look. They added the final members of the band and started to move towards the creation of their self timed debut album. They traveled to the studios of Triple Platinum producer; Cliff Magg, where they laid the foundation for the GRACE OVER DIAMONDS release. The band was able to dial in on a style that was true to their love for rock, creating a classic modern orchestral sound. With the addition of Industrial Drum machines, drum loops, a catchy orchestral choruses, and cutting edge guitar sounds and hooks imbedded throughout their tracks. Their ability to bring pure power to the vocals, adding deep messages to every chorus will not go unknown.
The band secured their distribution with EMI and has released their debut album self titled GRACE OVER DIAMONDS.
Release date October 17th 2008; Canada wide
The album was selected for the national television show PK TAKES VEGAS soundtrack.
