"Brighton gig review 20th Nov 2010"

Graces Collide play to a full room of fans (judging by the screaming girls on the front row) which sets off a good vibe for their melodic metal style. Their songs are well written taking on a more poppy approach which gracefully moves from verse to anthem like chorus. The frontman Dan has a great voice who's melody does much to capture the audiences attention and keep them gripped throughout the set. With the fan pulling power that the band posses I know it will only be a matter of time till we will see them performing at the top of their own bill.

Bio

Graces Collide - are a group of musicians from Brighton who are each inspired by a diverse collection of musical styles, from Jazz and metal to all American rock. The music exhibits this with big guitar riffs, heavy breakdowns and huge choruses.

With the aim of writing interesting and memorable music but remembering the importance of a melody, the band first went in to the studio in August 2010 to record a two-track demo. The track 'As I Fall' is still a huge favorite with fans at live shows today.

In July 2011 the band headed back in to the studio to record their first EP 'Make Your Move' with production by Win Stanley at Black Wookie Studios. With a bigger sound, each track shows the bands wide variety of musical talent; this EP has been met with many outstanding reviews and is available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon.

The band works hard on their many live performances and they have proven themselves against many of the South East’s greats with whom they have played alongside. They have also secured slots with bands such as New Device, Forever Never and The Rocket Dolls and the coming months will see the band playing shows with The Morning After, Neonfly, The Hype Theory and FranKo.

The band are heading back into the studio in march to record thier first album with a release at the end of april.
