I began writing songs at twelve years of age. By my early 20's I followed a studio recording career, and was engaged in off Broadway stage and theatre as a non equity Actor and Director. Soon after the recording of my first Album, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor which halted the movement of my career, however not my passion for songwriting. Through the many months of recovery, I continued to create music and lyrics. This became my personal rehabilitation and with each song I completed, I felt new birth breathing into my life. People and matters of the heart are my greatest influences, be it happy or sad, right or wrong, straight or gay, I write about it. I have copyrights to a portfolio of words and music of over 100 songs that hold a lifetime of personal experience and observation in human behavior.
I have a keen desire to write for the Singer looking for a new song. My lyrics and melodies are the stuff you turn up on the radio and say "Oh man I love this song"! Mine are the songs on a playlist ready for a long drive upstate or out to the country, the song a couple picks for a first wedding dance, the music heard throughout a motion picture, the song of empowerment, or regret or the timeless song that draws a tear everytime - storytelling with an authentic melody that posesses the "IT" factor of today’s sound.
