Graeme Lang

 Toronto, Ontario, CAN

Graeme Lang is blending fresh pop song writing with a jigger of rock and just a splash of country and folk. His secret formula will be unveiled with the release of his debut album.

After ten years of fronting local underdogs Recordbreaker, Toronto's Graeme Lang is poised to release his debut solo album. Centering on themes of love and loss this yet to be titled testament to heartache is sure to fit in splendidly with classics by Wilco, Tom Petty or Neil Young.

It was not an easy year for Graeme Lang. Losing not only his band but also the girl, he was heartbroken. The rock 'n' roll dream he had sought by moving to Toronto from Winnipeg, seemed all but over. With nothing left but songs, Lang holed up in his home studio to put his sorrow on record. The result were some of the most inspired, heartfelt compositions in his catalog. Assembling a host of talented and eager friends, Lang is weaving a gorgeous tapestry of hurtin'-heart pop/rock, with notes of folk and flourishes of country.

Lang is gearing up to release the album for late 2014; currently you can catch him live, with his band The Boxsets, in the Toronto area.
