G.Rag y los Hermanos Patchekos were founded by Bandleader Andreas Staebler in 1999. The "Caribbean Trash Orchestra" consists of eleven Member, currently residing in Munich and Zurich.

The band members composed and played the music of Franz Xaver Bogner television series Munich 7 The band was nominated in 2005 for the Adolf Grimme Prize.

For the soundtrack of the German cinema, film "Meer is nich" (D 2008) by Hagen Keller almost the entire album "Lucky Goddam" and other, newly composed pieces were used. In addition, some members of G.Rag y los Hermanos Patchekos played some supporting roles.

G.Rag y los Hermanos Patchekos self-released six albums (plus 3 Soundtrack for TV-Series "München 7") all on their own Label gutfeeling records.

G.Rag y los Hermanos Patchekos toured Germany and Switzerland exstensively (i.e with befriended Musicians Mama Rosin, Delaney Davidson & Pierre Omer).

G.Rag y los Hermanos Patchekos play a wild mixture ranging from Folk to Country, from Cumbia to Cuba, from Balkan to Bavaria, from Rockabilly to Punk-Rock. But all in a Patcheko-Manner: Drummer plays a set from the junkyard supportetd by a percussionist, who also makes sounds on unusual stuff, a Doublebass, Trumpets, Trombones, Flugelhorns, Guitars (3!), Vocals (all?!), Steelguitar, harp al led by Mr. G.Rag, lead guitarist, primary songwriter and singer.
