Grandaddy Slank! is a truly unique duo from New Orleans, Louisiana. They were formed in May 2009 and have been recently playing the streets and local venues around the Big Easy.
Michelle Cunningham displays many emotions from feel good to gut wrenching heart ache, revealing her true story and life experiences. Nate Coleman provides raspy backup vocals , steady funk rhythms on his guitar and a simple back beat on his homemade drum chair.
They came together after Michelle dropped out of college in May 09 ,then her and Nate met through mutual friends. Soon following writing together and performing out locally. They self released their first home recorded CD in July 2010 called" Bare Boned". Currently they plan to produce their first studio recording in Feb 2011 and then spread the love by touring.
