Bio
Daniel LeBlanc is the fiddle player of the french acadian group Grand Derangement. He has been with GD for the past 12 years traveling across Canada, the US and Europe. Their blend of traditional ,rock and world beat influences bring to this award winning group a modern sound.
Christal Thibault , (winner of the bluegrass fiddle player of the year in 2008), has been playing in fiddle since an early age, specializing in celtic music. She has recently crossed to blugrass music touring the maritimes with her band New Ground.
Together, these two Baie-Saint Marie NS fiddle players bring you some favorites of numerous fiddle styles, celtic, bluegrass, old-time and western swing.
The Twin Fiddle CD was recorded by Jean Pascal Comeau in la Baie-Sainte Marie NS from April- july 2009.
