How it all went down…..
Grant Jones started making a name for himself around Denton, TX in the early 2000’s. His first record “Close Your Eyes & Smile” earned him respect among critics, musicians and an ever growing fan base. In 2006 Grant connected with Ace McNeely, Rob Schumacher & Miles Penhall to form the Pistol Grip Lassos.
Ace has been engineering, producing, recording, writing, and performing face-melting music across the US for over 15 years with Hollow Point, Deaf Experience, W.H.A.T.?, The Gravity Plan, Gebo & Little Big Horn.

b has been a fixture in the Dallas music scene for nearly a decade, playing drums and percussion for Slick 57, The Von Erichs, Eleven Hundred Springs, Ghoultown, Lucy Loves Schroeder, The Riverboat Gamblers, The Dogkickers, and many other local and regional acts.
Miles, plain and simple, is one of the best young country guitarists in Texas. You may not believe it now, but you will when you see it. His free-wheeling guitar style has earned him this reputation. He also has makes strangest facial expressions you have probably ever seen.
