" It is exciting to see one of the best Alternative/Rock Bands I've heard in quite awhile emerge out of the U.S. Midwest. It defys the "norm". But, then again, Graveyard Whiskey is not your "norm" band. Their songs are extremely unique and have addictive links built into several sections of any given songs structure - wild - why hadn't somebody thought to do this before? The band is characterized by excellent musicianship; dynamite vocals; and the songs (beyond musical excellence) have a lyrical component that is as equally as appealing . I love this band's energy!!!"

Graveyard Whiskey is a project began by Mike Thom whose been told his natural brain chemicals are somewhat of a cocktail fused with shots of Frank Zappa, Trent Reznor, John Lennon and Rob Zombie. He has always had a very unorthadox way of creating music and mixing things that don't normally seem right and making it flow. All with a powerful punk rock energy and attitude. Everything is recorded, mixed and mastered by him, and most of the instruments on the tracks are played by him. He manages the band and does 90% of the artwork and photography, stage shows, video production. WIth the help of his live bandmates he plans to take Graveyard Whiskey on the road this summer.
