Gravis

Aaron Gravis was born and brought up on the outskirts of Dallas, Texas. Life has taken him on a journey from the top of the world, to the heat of the flames, back to somewhere just above the middle. Raised by Jay Gravis, a Baptist minister / Music Lover, and Patty Gravis, a Saint / Angelic Singer, Aaron always had God and Music in his life. His strong spiritual base allowed him to live by faith which served him well as he made his way in the world excelling in sports and eventually signing a college scholarship to play baseball and basketball. Through four years of college and four different schools Aaron gained lifelong friends, life changing experiences, and a stories that will never be forgotten. After college & sports, the real world hit Aaron square in the face....knocked him down, chewed him up, and spit him out leaving him searching for a new identity and purpose. He was given a guitar in 2005 and began to teach himself to play, learning the music of his songwriting heroes like Johnny Cash, Robert Earl Keen, Bruce Springsteen, Waylon & Willie along with new ones such as Pat Green, Randy Rogers, Cross Canadian Ragweed....the up and coming Texas Music Scene. From the moment he could put Three Chords together, he started writing songs and melodies which seemed to come easy from the heart.
