Grayson ep 2006
somewhere in the night 2009. Airplay in Ireland

Australian born singer songwriter Grayson has been playing live across Australia and indeed much of the rest of the world since 2000. He has supported the likes of Pete Murray Daryl Braithwaite and Rick Price just to name a few. His first E.P. which was released in 2007 was well received in Australia getting airplay around the country. The E.P. has also been played in over 10 different countries worldwide and as a result Grayson was nominated for Artist Of The Year at the ABC Newcastle Music Awards. Graysons music has also been played on Australian national TV on channel 9's “The Footy Show” and on channel 7's morning show “Sunrise”.

In 2008 Grayson toured extensively in over 20 countries performing hundreds of his own headline gigs, as well as opening shows for major artists and filming on TV. He also supported Irish singer Nicole Maguire at a sell out Crane Lane Theatre show and the response was over whelming. Filming live on Balcony TV in Dublin and also playing at most of the renowned songwriters nights in Ireland gave Grayson an instant fan base and something to build on when he returned to Ireland in 2009.

While in Europe Grayson was flown to Arona, Italy to open a show for Ray Heffernan, after Ray saw a clip on youtube of Grayson’s original track “Change”. Grayson was very excited and truly honoured as after all Ray is the man who wrote “Angels” for the great Robbie Williams. Grayson returned home from Europe and re pressed copies of his last E.P. due to sales through Europe.

Having been spotted at a gig in Ireland in 2008 Grayson was signed to the Rifle Range Records label and was flown back to Ireland for recordings and to release a single and album. The eagerly anticipated first single “Stand Clear” is due for release in September and has already been receiving critical acclaim. This single will coincide with the release of his debut album “Somewhere In The Night” which will be out at the end of august 2009, and is already confirmed for album launches in Ireland, The Netherlands, Czech Rep, Italy, Switzerland, America and Australia just to name a few.
