Biography

Dan "Graz" Graziano is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist from Long Island, who has been actively playing and writing music his entire life. Drawing from a wealth of experience gained playing in bands as well as his solo act, Graz brings an upbeat, rocking vibe to the table as he plays guitar, ukelele, and sings his carefully crafted blend of original tunes and deftly executed covers. Armed with his trusty loop pedal and effects board, the result is a multi-layered sonic landscape that weaves between tunes, solos, and transitional jams. Graz released his debut album, "Out of the Woodwork" in 2010, featuring 10 all new tracks, and has a sophomore effort currently in the recording process (stay tuned!). Being such a productive artist, Graz is additionally active as one of two guitarists in his band, Orange Tincture, who's members frequently collaborate on his solo performances in addition to the band's regular gigs. He also performs in an acoustic duo The Songwriters. Percussionist extraordinaire and long time friend Dom Barranco can often be seen accompanying Graz live, which only furthers the diverse offerings of the act. Be sure to "like" both Graz and Orange Tincture on Facebook, and keep an eye out for upcoming gigs!
