The Great Lakes Players are a cover band born from decades of experience from original bands that have toured and recorded at some of the finest venues and recording studios in the United States and South America. At the recommendation of some of the best music critics within the Michigan area, the three Michigan natives have joined forces to bring a mixed bag of quality classic rock, blues, and funk – exactly what a music connoisseur, ala “bar patron” would desire in a solid, well balanced, professional show. The band is formed of former members of Botfly, Rooster (Uncle Booby), Black Fuzz, Global Village, Heckyl & Jive, 8 Ohm Apple, and Dorothy just to name a few. Collectively the band members of the Great Lakes Players have toured with the likes of Nickleback, The Why Store, The Verve Pipe, Gov’t Mule, Fishbone, Tantric, Days of the New, Sponge, and many others.
This culmination of seasoned musicians has now formed together to bring you The Great Lakes Players, that assuredly will leave you feeling like you have witnessed sincere “Quality Entertainment”. Top all of this off with professional gear, pa, and lights and you then have a making for a truly awesome display of talent, energy, and stomp your feet jams.
