Bio
Formed in 2012 by singer Noam Enbar (Oy Division, Habiluim), guitarist and singer Adam Scheflan (Kutiman Orchestra) and drummer Ariel Armoni (Pisuk Rahav), GREEDYADAM perform a mixture of early 20th century Jewish cantorial pieces, melding them with psychedelic post-rock and meditative mystical songs, seeking to engage the listener into an ad-hoc, non brutal, nuanced contemporary ritual.
In the two years since it was established, the band played a series of concerts at "Home Festival" and "Sacred Music Festival" (both part of the 2013 Jerusalem Season of culture), at "Menashe Forest Festival", and in collaboration with acclaimed documentarist Avi Mograbi at the 2012 "Berlinale" film Festival.
Turner Prize winner Laure Prouvost donated the lyrics to a couple of the band's latest songs.
