Greek Elf

Greek Elf was born in 2007, created by Vitel like a solo project. At the beginning, Vitel calling his solo project under the pseudonym ELFO, and was recorded an EP named “Vodoo Lov” without intent of distribution. Early, at the end of the 2008, Vitel recorded a few new songs, and at this time he invite Simon M. to participate playing guitars in the project. After that, Vitel invite the bassist Mark Afaro (also the photoeditor) to play and other friends to form the perceptive band.

In 2009 GE finish his first official disc named “Insight”. The name of the disc has a few meanings, the first meaning its the cognitive-psychological mean of the term (to understand in the sudden way of a inner reality, connect with yourself), because all the songs in this disc it's about the personal experiences of the song writer. The lyrical theme it's very abstract, can be very ambiguous trying to understand because the lyrics are written in a very personal way, the description of the phenomenon at the moment is experience and the experience its subject to the linguistic processes, our only way of making concrete reality.

After the recording of Insight Simon returned to his country and Mark invites Bryan Figueroa to play the guitar in GE, and he joined very well, sharing music styles, and making GE something more strongly. Around three weeks of the entrance of Bryan, Vitel invites Gonzalo Colman to play guitar in GE, because Vitel was playing with him in other bands a few years ago.

When all members felt that we are a establish band, we decided to looking for a drummer and Bryan invites to his friend who play drummer with Bryan a few years ago. Greek Elf meets to Guillermo and he likes the music, and we recruit him to the new drummer of GE.
