"Band on the Move"

With music twisting and turning across genres faster than you can name three commercial rap-metal bands, just how do you pioneer new styles and sounds? Take traditional bluegrass and add equal parts rock & roll, stir in blues, a half a cup of folk and a pinch of attitude and the recipe is complete. - Art Scene - Kevin Miller

"Green is the New Blue"

The Green Band has been working it's way through the area for several years and is one of the most recognized names in the area. On July 20th they expanded even more, opening for national act Blues Traveler… The thing is, the opening band probably had as much of an audience as the "Big Boys" - The Midnight Special - Joe Benedict

"Montly Must Sees"

"JCGB is a tight posse that pumps black oil into each groove, loose and deliciously gritty" - The Fairfield Weekly Reader

Bio

The JCGB is one of the most popular bands in the Midwest. Their music is roots rock, infused with an outlaw flair and they are currently recording their 4th album. If you haven't tried them, I think you should!

Front man Steve McLain has one of those rare voices that never misses the mark, and a good-vibes personality that is humble, confident and electrifying.

Whether cutting loose at an outdoor music festival, a college, a bike rally, a main stage or a tavern-this is a band guaranteed to lift your spirits and get your feet moving with their irrepressibly tight musicianship and down-home esprit de corps.

Live shows are a powerful kaleidoscope of original tunes effortlessly crossing genres. The band incorporates the themes of love, pride, community, and conservation in their creative mix.

The Green Band has opened for national acts; Blues Traveler, Justin Moore, David Allan Coe, Jason Brown, Kentucky Headhunters, Magic Slim and the Teardrops, Big Brother & the Holding Company, and the infamous stringdusters

It is music played from the heart that goes straight to the heart; that makes you feel good, happy to be alive, elevates your soul and makes you want to come back for more.
