"Melissa has a knack for blending catchy folk melodies with playful lyrics about sea horses, magic wagon rides and "Chocolate Ice Cream." As if her originals weren't enough, she also breathes new life into old favorites." - Sandra Barrera, Daily News
"Whimsical stories, interactive songs, and subjects of great concern to 3- and 4-year-olds...Add to that Melissa's warm voice and sharp additional instrumentation (guitar, mandolin, harmonica, assorted percussion) from New York-based musician Beau Elliott, and the album is a perfectly good little collection of songs. I’m sure you’ve all heard the term good riding music. Well this is GREAT RIDING MUSIC, my family and I recently went on our annual road trip from CT to southern GA. So needless to say my son played this CD over and over and again and again but instead of pulling the rest of my hair out I found myself singing along with him time after time. This is a fun and refreshing twist on kid’s music. - The Taylor Family, CD Baby
As a second grade teacher, I have introduced my students to this cd and they are now addicted. They have memorized and made up dance moves to match. As an auntie of 4 boys, I have played the music in our car rides and watched them smilie and sing. Buy it..share it...enjoy it. - Carla Fusco, CD Baby
Melissa captures the interest of all those listening. Just like at her performances, you will find the youngest child to adult singing along to these catchy tunes and enjoying themselves. My 11 week old listens each morning! - Kate and MJ, CD Baby
